Netflix cuts subscription rates– In a move that is sure to impact millions of subscribers around the world, Netflix has announced new subscription rates in India and 115 other countries beating its alternatives/competitors in the market. The new pricing structure is lowered by 25% for all three of Netflix’s plans: Basic, Standard, and Premium.
In India, the Basic plan will now cost 199 instead of 499 as it was previously. And its Mobile-only plan has been reduced to 149 now which previously was priced at 199. The premium plan is now reduced to 649, which earlier was 800.
Netflix price drop will also implement in parts of Asia, Europe, Latin America, sub-Saharan Africa, and the Middle East.
These changes will take effect immediately for new subscribers while existing subscribers will see the new rates reflected in their next billing cycle.
